The 1 ˝ acre property has butterfly gardens and an abundance of tropical landscapes that include flowering orchids and shrubs. A seasonal stream runs through the property and provides a wonderful background sound day or night. We have impeccably maintained pool and gardens.
Relax in one of the hammocks on the property listening to the howler monkeys, wild parrots or toucans. Casa de las Mariposas is great for couples traveling together, or families that would like some extra space. Everything you need for a perfect tropical getaway is located here! The area offers a large variety of outdoor activities, and there are many organized tours available. Enjoy a wonderful horseback ride to the Panica waterfall or along the beach. The villas are in a perfect location with access to variety of beaches with both black and white sand only minutes away. For surfers, Mal Pais and Playa Santa Teresa is a quick 25 minute drive. There are two golf courses (one 9 hole and one 18 hole) located minutes from the property. A variety of restaurants are located within a few minutes drive from the house. Everything from fine dining, Italian, a pizza place in the middle of the jungle and local Tico style food.
