Over the last years I heard more and more about Costa Rica from friends. Everyone said Costa Rica was a wonderful place. In January 2000 I finally decided to see this so-called paradise for myself. My plan was to tour as much of Costa Rica as possible. After staying in several of the nicest resort areas on the Nicoya peninsula, my last stop was in Tambor, Costa Rica. I was hooked. Some of the places I had visited were either already developed, or so remote they were difficult to get to. Tambor is easy to get to either by car or air. It is unspoiled, very friendly, and ripe for development. The perfect Real Estate investment.
The weather is perfect and the nature beauty and views are stunning. I remember the day I went with Mr. Köhlinger from Century 21 Beach Area Properties to look at a piece of land. As we drove to it I had no particular plan to purchase a lot. The minute I got there and saw the view, I had to own it. A few months later I returned with my family to show them the lot. They loved it and I particularly remember my 20 year old daughter saying: "Dad, you did well!".
I am a retired lawyer and real estate developer, so I was very careful to check into everything. Everything was as it should be.
